Dr. Pip Liggins

Research Software Engineer

Pip joined OxRSE in 2023, after gaining her PhD in Earth Science from the University of Cambridge. Her research background includes developing computational models of volcanic activity on Earth & exoplanets, exploring how volcanic atmospheres might evolve over time.

As an RSE, Pip specialises in building data transformation pipelines and platforms, with a particular interest in integrating AI to enhance their capabilities. She also contributes to the development and maintenance of open-source computational models.
